UT/ICL's participation in LACSI revolves around research in fault-tolerance, performance modeling and evaluation, self adaptive numerical software, and message passing in parallel/distributed computing environments.

In addition to LACSI research efforts, ICL staff also give presentations at numerous conferences and seminars around the country including participation in the annual LACSI symposium.

Because of ICL's expertise in several areas related to the core of LACSI research, several ICL projects, or projects which we participate in, are partially funded by the Institute.
