More dissension in Internet mgmt ranks

Underscoring recent unrest with the status of ICANN, resulting from Western dominance of character encoding among other things, is an interesting article from the folks at The Register about a letter written by the CEO of the Multi-lingual Internet Names Consortium (MINC) to ICANN that calls for greater efforts in making the Internet more multi-lingual and less US dominant.
