Sustainable Energy Ecosystems

Overview

The UTEC-UTK Collaboration for Sustainable Energy Ecosystems in Southern Cone project focuses on accelerating workforce development, knowledge sharing, and climate action through international collaboration in the field of sustainable energy. The project is funded by CAF Development Bank of Latin America,the U.S. Department of State (DOS), the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, and the U.S. Embassy in Chile, and it involves higher education institutions in the United States and Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. This effort aligns with the DOS goal to create a greener, more inclusive, and prosperous Hemisphere through enhanced regional education cooperation.

Participating institutions include The University of Tennessee, the UT Institute for Agriculture, and the Technological University of Uruguay.
