Bio

Natalie Beams is a Research Assistant Professor in the Innovative Computing Laboratory at the University of Tennessee. She holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to coming to UT, she spent two years as a postdoctoral research associate in the Computational and Applied Mathematics (now Computational Applied Mathematics and Operations Research) department at Rice University. Her research interests include numerical methods for PDEs, scientific computing, and high performance computing.
