question about using lapack with g77 compiler

Postby sivafortran » Wed Dec 03, 2008 8:44 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am new to using Lapack. I am trying to do some matrix diagonalization for which I am currently using fortran-77 with g77 compiler in Linux Suse 10. I just downloaded Lapack-3.2. All the subroutines are in fortran-90. How to use them with g77 compiler?

Thanks

We do not support Fortran 77 anymore. What about using gfortran instead of g77?
Best wishes,
Julien.

Intel Fortran 90 is fine. I think there is a need for some special compilation flag but can not remember them.
