The Internet2 Distributed Storage Infrastructure (I2-DSI)
is a replicated hosting service for internet content and services.
Channels (services) are replicated across a distributed infrastructure
with substantial compute and storage resources. User requests
are directed to the closest (in network topology terms) server,
keeping network traffic low and balanced.
The Internet Chinese Music Archive contains full recordings of various cultural compositions and historical speeches. Categories range from Ceremonial to Modern.

PCR attempts to model internet services in a highly portable manner to simplify
creation of service replicas and content distribution networks.
Lokomo Systems (www.lokomo.com) is building
an implementation of the current PCR spec.
