  • setenv DISPLAY heat04.ha.md.us
  • On heat04 type xhost +eckert

• If you don't use csh/tcsh all the variables need to be set up by hand and you can do it this way:

  • DISPLAY=heat04.ha.md.us
  • export DISPLAY
