What is a TLB?

• Fully associative cache of virtual to physical address mappings. Used if data not in cache.

• Number is limited on R10K, by default:

16KB/pg * 2pgs/TLB * 58 TLBs = 2MB

• Processing with more than 2MB of data results in TLB misses.
