Run the executable (a.out)

To run the executable with OpenMP directives on SGI Origin 2000:

• interactive use
  
  • By default, the number of threads is set to number of CPUs on the machine or 8, whichever is smaller. The user can override the default by setting the OMP_NUM_THREADS environment variable (e.g. in C shell "setenv OMP_NUM_THREADS 2")
  • a.out

To run the executable with MPI library calls on SGI Origin 2000:

• interactive use
  caprun -m sgi_64 -p mpi -top pipe2 a.out

• batch use

• interactive use
  caprun -m sp2 -p mpi -top pipe2 a.out
