papi could collect separately events per one core in cmp?

Hi, everybody.
I have some questions to ask for you about papi.
If i want to separately collect performance events per one core in cmp architecture, just like cache misses on core 1, cache misses on core 2,
it is ok?
which version papi could support this collection ?
Could you give me some advice on my question.
