PAPI Forum

I am trying to use PAPI with TAU. The software seems easy to install, but where does it go?

Now papi_avail and other papi commands go into /usr/bin when I install PAPI.

But that seems to be all that installs. I am confused. from reading the TAU install
instructions, I must direct it to the PAPI directory during TAU configure.

But there is no PAPI dirtectory that I know of other than /usr/bin/.

Where is PAPI installed?
