HI,
This might be very trivial questions. Its about calculating Sqrt(r), where r is in Rationals(). I am calculating Sqrt(4) and its giving me answer "2.00000000000000000000000000000". And when I ask "Sqrt(4) in Rationals();" then its giving me false. I want to find a way where Sqrt(r), if r is a perfect square, belong to Rationals(). Any help?
Sohail
Sqrt(r) is not rational, where r is a perfect square

I think you are on the wrong forum. This forum is for MAGMA, the GPU library for linear algebra (http://icl.utk.edu/magma/). It sounds like you want MAGMA, the computational algebra system (http://magma.maths.usyd.edu.au/magma/).
