Unfortunately, we haven't built Fortran interfaces for the MAGMA sparse components. You would have to write wrappers in C that your Fortran functions can call.
Most all the dense functionality in MAGMA should be accessible from Fortran now. Looks like the example code needs a little updating to reflect those newer Fortran wrappers. See also the Fortran files in magma/testing.
