Error while installing coinlapack

I tried installing coinlapack in Linux Ubuntu.

Getting the error:
Package coinlapack was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Or
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `coinlapack.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

Can anyone help?
