I was reading through the LAPACK FAQ (http://www.netlib.org/lapack/faq.html), specifically:

Are there routines in LAPACK to compute determinants?
No. There are no routines in LAPACK to compute determinants. This is discussed in the "Accuracy and Stability" chapter in the LAPACK Users' Guide.
But I read through the whole "Accuracy and Stability" chapter (http://www.netlib.org/lapack/lug/node72.html), and I didn't see anything specifically addressing this question.
Did this get edited out of the Users' Guide, and the FAQ needs to be updated?
