LAPACK/ScaLAPACK Development

Hi,
The product of a matrix with its transpose obtains a symmetric matrix. Is there a special blas/lapack function for this or one uses ?gemm ?

Yep DSYRK. Half of of the FLOPS as GEMM, and pretty much same efficiency, so twice faster in the end. J.
