problem of installing blacs

Hi, i met some problems when i install blacs. The version of mpi which i have already installed is mpich-1.2.4. I installed it according to the installation guide. When i tested the installation and type "make tester", it give me a lot of error messages like that:
/usr/lib/libmpi.a(lamtrace.o) (.text+oxd55): In function 'lam_tr_coloroff':
undefined reference to 'rw'

it looks like the MPI you are using is LAM and not MPICH.
Modify the above variable to point to your MPICH install directory.
the mpi lib is called libmpich.a for mpich.
Do not forget to do a make mpi what=clean before recompiling.
